Calling students for fun Saturday side job
Since 2008, Tomatoworld has been the experience world that reveals the great value of Dutch greenhouse horticulture and shows how its knowledge, innovation and technologies contribute to the solutions of the world food problem.
Visitors will become aware at Tomatoworld of the global challenges in climate change, freshwater scarcity, waste, urbanisation, availability of sufficient safe food and energy we face. We take visitors into the world of the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector. We show which solutions this sector can offer with its knowledge, technologies and sustainable cultivation methods, and we educate how we ourselves can contribute to solutions for the world food issue with our food choices.
Visiting the greenhouse where more than 80 different tomato varieties are grown according to the sustainable Dutch production method (Dutch Method) and tasting all our tomato varieties will have changed the opinion about the taste of Dutch tomatoes forever.
Currently, Tomatoworld's focus is on B2B but we are getting more and more requests from citizens/consumers and would like to open up our venue on Saturdays for this purpose.
We are looking for enterprising, creative students for this purpose.
You will have the freedom to set up your own consumer line within Tomatoworld for the weekends, come up with your own strategy, marketing and execution. And of course, you will receive coaching from the Tomatoworld team.
What will you do?
- You will create and implement a marketing and communication plan under the guidance of our team
- You will be trained as a guide so that you can give the tours independently
- You bring in new ideas for products and services we can offer such as lectures and workshops
